ISLA Loses Dear Friend, Co-Founder

On January 30, 2017, Karen Keyworth, Executive Director of ISLA, passed away. Karen was more than just the co-founder of ISLA; she was a dear friend to everyone at the organization. We are forever indebted to Karen’s visionary leadership at the ISLA and beyond. The ISLA seeks to uphold her legacy with renewed vigor by maintaining her commitment to networking, research, and educational leadership that Karen embodied in her life’s work.
