Building Your School’s AI Vision: A 5-Week Professional Learning Community for Islamic School Leaders Grounded in Islamic Intelligence by Design
Over five weeks, Islamic school leaders will move from honest self-assessment to a complete, board-ready AI vision for their school. This is the work that prepares your school for the 2026-2027 academic year and beyond.
What You Will Build by the End of Week 5
A one-year AI vision document for your school, ready to present to your board and families, and ready to implement next school year.
Weekly Sessions (90 minutes each)
- Week 1: Rate Yourself. Honestly assess where your school stands using the AI Readiness Spectrum across four key domains.
- Week 2: Bridge to Your Next Level. Identify the gap between where your school is and where it needs to be, and what it takes to close it.
- Week 3: Choose Your Focus. Select the priorities that will anchor your school’s AI vision.
- Week 4: Plan the Action. Translate priorities into a concrete plan, grounded in Islamic principles.
- Week 5: Share and Refine. Present your vision, receive peer feedback, and make your final commitment.
Certificate of Participation
All registrants who attend regularly, complete required coursework, and submit the feedback survey by the deadline will receive a certificate of participation.
Overview
Islamic schools are navigating the AI shift with little structure to guide them. Most leaders are reacting rather than leading, hoping their teachers and students figure it out responsibly. This 5-week Professional Learning Community moves leaders from a defensive posture to clear direction. Grounded in Islamic Intelligence by Design, an original framework developed for Islamic schools, the PLC gives Islamic school leaders a structured process for building a one-year AI vision rooted in Islamic values, with a board-ready vision document they can take into the upcoming school year.
