Position Overview
We are seeking a visionary Assistant Principal who will serve as a lead Murabbi, focusing specifically on student behavior, character development, and school culture. This role is designed for a servant leader who views student conduct through the lens of Tarbiyah—treating every behavioral challenge as an opportunity for spiritual growth, self-regulation, and the cultivation of Prophetic adab.
Key Responsibilities
- Behavioral Leadership: Develop and oversee a school-wide behavior development framework rooted in restorative justice and Prophetic character.
- Student Tarbiyah: Lead the implementation of character education initiatives, ensuring that discipline is handled with compassion, firmness, and spiritual purpose.
- Teacher Mentorship: Coach and support teachers in classroom management techniques that align with Muraqaba principles and emotional wellness.
- Crisis & Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary lead for complex behavioral issues, facilitating mediations that foster accountability and empathy between students.
- School Culture: Orchestrate a joyful and safe campus environment, ensuring that the school’s HEART-centered mission is reflected in every student interaction.
- Family Partnership: Work closely with parents to align home and school behavioral expectations, providing resources and guidance on Islamic character building.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, School Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in education, with significant experience in behavior management, dean-level roles, or school administration.
- Spirituality: Deep understanding of Islamic worldview, Prophetic adab, and the spiritual dimensions of discipline.
- Skills: Exceptional conflict-resolution skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead with both authority and mercy.
- Passion: A commitment to moving beyond “punishment” toward a model of transformative behavioral growth.
