Director/Principal

Tajan Foundation is seeking an experienced, visionary, and mission-driven Director of Education & Principal to provide strategic leadership for all educational programs while serving as the Principal of Ayah Academy.

This executive leadership role oversees Ayah Academy, the Full-Time Hifdh Program, and the Associate Director of Tajan Quran Institute to advance excellence in academics, Islamic education, student development, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide strategic leadership for all Tajan Foundation educational programs.
2. Serve as Principal of Ayah Academy, overseeing academics, operations, student services, and school culture.
3. Lead and oversee the Full-Time Hifdh Program.
4. Supervise and support the Associate Director of Tajan Quran Institute.
5. Lead curriculum development, instructional improvement, and professional learning.
6. Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate faculty and staff.
7. Build strong partnerships with families and the broader community.
8. Manage budgets, enrollment planning, and operational effectiveness.
9. Serve as the primary educational liaison to the Tajan Foundation Board.

Required Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or a related field.
2. Principal certification or educational leadership credential.
3. At least five years of progressively responsible educational leadership experience.
4. Demonstrated success in instructional leadership, curriculum development, staff supervision, and school improvement.
5. Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills.
6. Commitment to Islamic education and the mission of Tajan Foundation.

Preferred Experience

1. Leading an Islamic school or educational organization.
2. Supervising multiple educational programs.
3. Knowledge of Hifdh, Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies programming.
