Administrative Assistant

Al Madina School of Richmond is seeking an organized, dependable, and professional Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the school. This position serves as a key point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors and works closely with school administration to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. High school diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred.
2. Previous administrative, office, or school experience preferred
3. Strong computer and technology skills, with the ability to learn and navigate various programs and systems
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
6. Professional, friendly, and comfortable communicating with parents, students, staff, and visitors
7. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve as needed
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
9. Dependable, flexible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment

Key Responsibilities:

The Administrative Assistant assists with front office operations, parent and staff communication, student records and documentation, scheduling, school events and activities, dismissal procedures, technology and office systems, and other administrative needs. The position also provides ongoing support to the principal, teachers, and school community to help ensure school operations run smoothly.
