ISLA PLC: Mastering Differentiation in the Arabic Classroom
This comprehensive 8-session PLC is designed to empower teachers of Arabic as a second language with the tools and strategies needed to maximize learning outcomes for students in Elementary, Middle, and High School levels, regardless of the curriculum they use.
Dr. Jumana Wilson, Director of Arabic at Al Falah Academy (GA) will be the provider for this PLC. She has a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction, and is currently a consultant for Arabic programs, an instructional coach trainer, and an educational counselor.
Through a combination of 4 recorded sessions and 4 monthly live sessions, this PLC builds teachers’ understanding of three key concepts: Differentiation, Gradual Release of Responsibility and Universal Design for Learning.

Audience: K-12 Arabic Teachers

- Tools to support time management, delegation, and organization in a demanding school environment
- Approaches to building and leading high-trust, collaborative teams
- Confidence in initiating and navigating difficult conversations
- Clarity on the role of the principal as both instructional leader and community-builder
- A network of fellow Islamic school leaders to learn from and lean on throughout the school year
