Summary

Child sexual abuse is a serious concern that requires awareness, vigilance, knowledge, and collective responsibility. Grounded in the Islamic worldview and the ISLA Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) Framework, this interactive three-hour workshop equips educators, administrators, and school leaders with practical knowledge to strengthen a culture of child safety and protection.

Participants will explore the Islamic responsibility to safeguard children, recognize grooming behaviors and boundary violations, understand adult–student and digital communication expectations, and strengthen supervision and reporting practices. Through realistic scenarios and guided discussion, participants will examine how to respond appropriately to concerns and disclosures, document information, follow internal reporting pathways, and fulfill mandated reporting responsibilities without conducting their own investigation.

The workshop moves beyond awareness as information toward awareness as an active practice of protection, accountability, and care.
