Time: 7:00 – 8:30 PM CST
Join ISLA for a webinar tailored to Islamic school educators and building on the foundation of September’s session on Deen & Discipline, dive deeper into how educators can guide student behavior with wisdom, balance and compassion. Educators will learn how to design and deliver consequences that truly teach.
Led by Asmaa Albadawi, founder of Reach & Teach Instructional Coaching and Curriculum Editor at Yaqeen Institute, with over 15 years of experience in Islamic school teaching and supporting Muslim educators through faith-integrated teaching practices.
Through real classroom examples and reflection, participants will analyze why some approaches backfire, while others build lasting responsibility. We’ll unpack what makes consequences effective, how reinforcement shapes behavior, and how to strike the right balance between empathy and accountability. Grounded in Islamic guidance, the workshop equips teachers to help students learn from mistakes, make better choices, and grow in both character and conduct.
🎯All registrants will receive the recording and resources.
Note: Attendees who complete a short feedback survey by February 1st will be emailed a certificate of participation based on the information provided on the survey.
Discounts available for ISLA members and bulk school rates.
