English Teacher

Iman Academy Southwest is seeking passionate and dedicated full-time English Teacher for Middle and High school for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment that supports academic excellence, character development, and student growth. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction across core elementary subjects while fostering strong collaboration with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver high-quality classroom instruction for students.
2. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with academic standards
3. Monitor student progress and support individual learning needs
4. Maintain effective classroom management and positive student behavior
5. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support school-wide goals
6. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited university
2. Texas Teaching Certification preferred
3. Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience preferred
4. Strong classroom management skills
5. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
7. Legally authorized to work in the United States
8. Familiarity with Islamic culture and values preferred
