As an ELA & Social Studies teacher at Arqam’s Academy, you’ll do more than teach — you’ll mentor, inspire, and help shape confident young thinkers grounded in academic excellence and strong values. You’ll collaborate with a forward-thinking team in a nurturing Islamic learning environment that prioritizes both academic rigor and emotional well-being.

Your Impact:

Deliver engaging and relevant instruction in English Language Arts and Social Studies for grades 6–8.

Design differentiated lessons that challenge students while meeting their individual needs.

Build students’ reading comprehension, writing fluency, analytical thinking, and historical understanding.

Foster a classroom culture where curiosity, character, and connection thrive.

Integrate Islamic values and character-building throughout instruction.

Use technology and assessments to track and support student progress.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, enrichment, and student support.

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to build strong partnerships in student success.

Participate actively in staff development and school-wide initiatives that strengthen our learning community.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, History, or a related field.

Teaching certification or eligibility to obtain one.

Experience with middle school students (preferred).

Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.

Ability to differentiate instruction and integrate technology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Commitment to Islamic values and student development.
