Job Overview

RISE is seeking passionate and dedicated Middle and High School Teachers across subject areas to deliver engaging, inquiry-based instruction aligned with the IB framework. The ideal candidate fosters academic growth, intellectual curiosity, and strong character while supporting students’ spiritual and personal development.

Responsibilities

1. Teach assigned middle and/or high school subject(s) using engaging, student-centered, and inquiry-based instructional strategies.
2. Plan and deliver lessons aligned with curriculum standards and IB principles.
3. Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and academic needs.
4. Integrate critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world connections into lessons.
5. Incorporate Islamic values and character education where appropriate.
6. Implement the RISE Student Learner Profile to support student growth and reflection.
7. Maintain a positive, structured, and respectful classroom environment.
8. Assess student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
9. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units and school initiatives.
10. Participate in professional development and school-wide activities.

Qualifications

1. Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject area.
2. Teaching experience preferred, especially at the middle or high school level.
3. Familiarity with or willingness to learn the IB framework.
4. Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
5. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
6. Commitment to RISE’s mission and values.
