The Crescent Academy is growing and in need of an Islamic Education teacher for Middle School Grades! We are currently in need of a teacher in our Middle School program in the subject areas of Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies! Full time hours preferred.
Primary duties include the preparation and execution of Arabic, Quran and Islamic Studies lesson plans aligned to approved Islamic curriculum. Teachers create and support a safe and positive learning environment which fosters the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social potential of each student. Additionally, teachers maintain daily attendance records, frequent parent communication, and timely student progress reports, while also arranging extra-curricular learning experiences and field trips, completing staff development opportunities, and creating a constructive discipline policy.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship and in-person in Endicott, NY or able to relocate immediately to the area.
Pay & Benefits:
Salary $30,000 or a rate of $25 per hour, with additional compensation for advanced qualifications. Benefits for staff include tuition discounts and paid time offPosition Type
