Educators Complete Mental Health Training

I’m so proud to share that mashallah we had a phenomenal group of dedicated and concerned educators complete the American Muslim Health Professionals’ Mental Health Training last Saturday, Oct 10th, coordinated by ISLA.

These educators completed an asynchronous 2-hour online course and then participated in a live full-day training yesterday. We had a diverse group of educators joining us, from those who have been in the field for over 30 years, to others who are only a few years in. All were concerned about learning how to recognize, prevent, and respond to mental health issues to better serve their students. May Allah reward them and make it beneficial!
If there is enough positive feedback and interest from others, we can organize another one inshallah!
