Duties include:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across literacy subjects such as grammar, writing, and reading.
2. Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect among students.
3. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and individualized support for students with unique needs.
4. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and ongoing assessments.
5. Provide tutoring and academic advising to help students improve their skills in literacy, math, or other areas requiring additional support.
6. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school events, and educational administration tasks to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
7. Proofread instructional materials for accuracy and clarity; adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning styles and developmental stages.

We are looking for professionals who:

1. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development.
2. Have proven classroom experience working with children across the middle school level in diverse educational settings.
3. Demonstrate expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating technology into instruction.
4. Have experience working with students with unique needs, including those with autism or requiring behavior management strategies.
5. Are familiar with standardized testing procedures, and assessment tools used in primary and secondary education.
6. Demonstrate strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
