Moreover, responding effectively to crisis situations is highly valued in Islam, since it can potentially save lives. Allah (SWT) says (ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعا) ” and whoever saves a life, it would be as though he saved the lives of all humans”. (Al-Ma’ida:32).
