For this month’s highlight, we reached out to Noorart, a longstanding supporter and corporate member. Recognizing the need for quality Islamic and Arabic curricula, Noorart assembled a team of experts years ago to develop various curriculum resources tailored for Muslim children.
This month, we are putting a spotlight on their latest book, “Health and Wellness,” a comprehensive guide to help youth navigate its associated challenges. Learn more about Noorart and this insightful book in their own words.
Describing Noorart:
At Noorart, we aim to enable Arab and Muslim families to nurture their children with a resilient sense of identity and faith-based pride. We are firm believers in the significance of fostering a profound comprehension of the Arabic language and Islamic values, deeming it crucial for the younger generation.
Recognizing the difficulties encountered by Muslim and Arab parents in providing Islamic and Arabic education to their children, we established a dedicated division serving Islamic schools, Islamic centers, and homeschooling families. Our commitment lies in our unwavering dedication to educate and inspire our Muslim and Arab youth through the creation
and distribution of the finest quality educational products.”
What makes Noorart Unique:
What sets us apart is our unique perspective as natives of the US. This enables us to create and curate high-quality products that provide great educational value to our youth, specifically tailored to their environment in the West. One challenge many schools face is finding curricula that fit their students’ backgrounds and environments, as many available
options come from overseas. We address this need by offering a wide variety of curricula that suit different students from diverse backgrounds and cultures, making them relevant to their experiences here in the USA.
Key Highlight:
We are excited to share our latest book, “Health and Wellness: From an Islamic Perspective”, authored by Dr. Amber Khan. This book addresses the urgent need for our youth to understand health education through an Islamic lens. It covers a wide range of topics, including puberty, sexual health, mental illness, social health, body image, drug use, contemporary health issues, stress management, spiritual health, and more. This comprehensive guide helps young people navigate these challenging issues with a foundation rooted in their faith.
We would also love to invite you to the upcoming Free webinar by Dr. Amber Khan where she will be sharing with us tips on how to teach the topic of “Teaching Sexual and Gender Identity” on the 20th of July, 2024 from 12 pm-2 pm EST.
