In an effort to provide needed support, the ISLA is taking advantage of the summertime to create a professional learning community that brings together Islamic school leaders from around the country. This high-quality leadership course will explore some of the below topics:
- How can Islamic School Leaders model their leadership after the Prophet’s example?
- What qualities make Prophetic leadership?
- What role does Emotional Intelligence play in our leadership?
- How can we develop an inclusive decision-making structure that follows the example of the Prophet and the Sahaba?
- What tools and strategies can we use as leaders that can help develop buy-in and create a positive and engaging culture in your school?

Meet your facilitator:
– Rasha El-Haggan

In addition to serving as the Assistant Head of School for the prestigious Friends School of Baltimore, she also travels internationally to provide professional development to hundreds of teachers around the world.
Rasha El-Haggan has a Bachelor’s degree in English literature from University of Maryland, a Masters degree in teaching from Johns Hopkins University and is currently a doctoral candidate at the Graduate School of Education at University of Pennsylvania.
