Summer 2020 was not necessarily the “rejuvenating” break we were all looking for, but no doubt it was productive! Take a look at this montage of meetings, webinars and workshops ISLA hosted (and you attended!) this summer!
We focused on:
- Providing you with the latest information, resources, services and opportunities through weekly meetings and emails
- Supporting you with professional development, webinars and workshops that enhance your ability to lead and teach in the hybrid and online world
- Working with partners to help you respond effectively to today’s issues and demands, including fighting anti-black racism (with MuslimARC), finding inner-peace amidst continuous challenges and distractions (with Define360), and accessing high-quality, relevant Islamic curriculum (with Yaqeen).
We’ve recently joined the National Muslim COVID-19 Taskforce and remain engaged on a weekly basis with the Council for American Private Education to stay informed and connected with experts who can assist us during these trying times.
We remain committed to deepening our relationships with our partners at MuslimARC, Define 360 and Yaqeen Institute. These partnerships allow us to expand our capacity to support you in the very important work that you do.
