The Islamic Academy of Alabama is seeking a passionate and skilled Arabic Language Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will inspire students to love the Arabic language while deepening their understanding of Arabic culture, literature, and traditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Arabic as a second language using engaging, student-centered lessons.
- Integrate cultural elements to foster appreciation for Arabic heritage.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen language instruction across grade levels.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and curiosity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language or a related field (required).
- Experience teaching Arabic as a second language preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of the Islamic Academy of Alabama.
