Lantern Lights, Ramadan Delights: Ramadan Activities

Ramadan is fast approaching, and this Ramadan we will still have the impact of Covid-19 dampening some of our regular masjid and community gatherings similar to last year. However, this time, we as a community are much more prepared to go into this wonderful month. For our children, we need to ensure they remember what makes this month important and special, even if masjid visits and gatherings are limited!

After going through such a difficult year,  year we went through. Especially for our children, through Covid-19 and the challenges they faced– be it adapting to online education or not having as many outdoor activities that they used to enjoy before the pandemic– it has been a difficult year! Many of us have even lost loved ones to this disease or faced other hardships.

It has been a difficult time for many, unfortunately, but thanks to the wonderful work of  Dr. Fawzia Gilani-Williams and many other amazing Muslim authors of children’s books, we are reminded that we have resources to push us in the right direction! Below we have shared a PDF created by Sr. Fawzia Gilani-Williams filled with Ramadan resources to help brighten this beautiful month for your children!
