The Islamic Academy for Peace is a private Islamic school serving students from early childhood through middle school.

Responsibilities

Teachers at TIA are expected to:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
  2. Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports student learning.
  3. Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to students and parents.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and school initiatives.
  5. Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  2. Teaching certification is preferred but not required
  3. Teaching experience at the elementary or middle school level.
  4. Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
