The Universal Academy of Pittsburgh (UAP) is seeking a dynamic and visionary Elementary/Middle School Principal to join our growing, mission-driven team. Founded in 1999, UAP is the first full-time Islamic school serving grades K through 8 in Pittsburgh, and we are proud to be a well-established institution with approximately 180 students and a vibrant, multicultural student body.

Our school combines strong academics based on the standard Pittsburgh-area curriculum with instruction in Arabic, Qur’an, and Islamic Studies, aiming to nurture well-rounded students who excel both intellectually and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and spiritual leadership to staff and students.

• Oversee daily school operations and long-term planning.

• Strengthen academic and behavioral systems.

• Lead community and parent engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree or higher in education, educational leadership, school administration, or a related field.
2. Teaching experience in an American elementary/middle school preferred.
3. Strong foundation in Islamic values and commitment to character education.
4. Proven leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
5. Strong computer and organizational skills.
6. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a team-oriented environment.
