Iman Academy Southeast is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified full-time Elementary School Science and Social Studies Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and structured classroom environment that promotes academic excellence, character development, and student growth. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality instruction while building strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver high-quality classroom instruction for elementary students in Science and Social Studies.
2. Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with Texas academic standards and school curriculum.
3. Assess and monitor student progress while supporting individual learning needs.
4. Maintain effective classroom management and encourage positive student behavior.
5. Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
6. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
7. Foster a nurturing, values-based learning environment that supports both academic and character growth.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from an accredited university.
2. Texas Teaching Certification preferred.
3. Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
4. Strong classroom management skills.
5. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Legally authorized to work in the United States.
8. Familiarity with Islamic culture and values preferred.
